The TurboNest® Nesting System is MTC Software’s introductory nesting software solution. It reflects our commitment to software solutions that are not only powerful, but easy to learn and use. TurboNest Nesting Software may quickly be downloaded and authorized via the internet, and the intuitive interface allows even the most inexperienced user to navigate the software with ease. Operational readiness is typically reached within a couple of hours, a fraction of what it takes using our competitor’s software. Deceptively simple, TurboNest Nesting Software has the capability to easily manage basic and intermediate conventional plasma and oxyfuel applications. Speed, Power and Affordability
TurboNest® Nesting Software’s CAD/CAM Import feature allows for easy importation of “ESSI” and “M&G” Code Files, DXF and DWG CAD formats. CAD layer(s) information is utilized to extract the desired data associated with various cutting, scribing and punching processes, and plot information. Any errors in the CAD file are corrected automatically, or flagged for a simple edit. Profile entity smoothing and reduction reduces multiple lines and arc segments from CAD files based on a user-defined smoothing tolerance to easily manage splines. The tool-paths for Profiles are generated on-the-fly, assigning cut direction, profile sequencing and leads upon import.
State-of-the Art User Interface
The TurboNest® user interface was designed to make the nesting process simple and intuitive. With floating or “dockable” toolbars and menus, you can configure the TurboNest® desktop to suit your individual preferences. “Fly by Help,” context sensitive mouse cursors, and “drag and drop” nesting add up to a product that you can learn in minutes, not days! The TurboNest® reports provide clear and concise information for both management and production needs.
TurboNest Speaks Your Language
TurboNest® is easily translated into nearly any language. The text for program screens, menus, reports, and help messages are contained in an external file, making the translation process simple and straightforward. TurboNest® supports Metric and English measurement units, and complies with regional locale settings for currency and decimal formats.
